Resources you will need for this course
There are 5 required booklets required for this program. They are an invaluable resource for learning the Meridians, potent points, as well Acupressure and Aroma Acutouch sequences to address common complaints, to balance the Meridians, and to regulate the Five Elements.
- Potent Points for Common Complaints
- Chinese Organ Meridians: Points and Functions
- Aroma Acutouch Therapy to Balance the Chinese Five Elements
- Chinese Acupressure to Regulate the Five Elements
- Intermediate and Advanced Acupressure
All these booklets are available on the Open Pathways website at https://www.openpathwaysmassage.com/category/acupressure-educational-materials
The first four booklets listed come in a money-savings package called "Integrating Chinese Medicine into Massage Therapy Booklet Package." The fifth booklet (Intermediate and Advanced Acupressure) is for sale as an individual item.
In order to practice in class, and in between classes, you will need to purchase the essential oils that we use in our Aroma Acutouch Therapy sequences. You can later utilize these oils in your massage practice.
These oils can also be purchased from Open Pathways at https://www.openpathwaysmassage.com/category/essential-oils
We carry Snow Lotus essential oils. They are organic, artisan-distilled oils, of high quality and purity. We offer Snow Lotus products at a discounted price for students.
The oils we use in this program are listed below. If you want to divide the cost of the oils, you can purchase 5 oils per month for the next 5 months. You want to make sure you have all the oils by the beginning of the fourth course in the program, "Aroma Acutouch Therapy to Balance the Chinese Five Elements."
